The Advocates
Prof. Johnstone Mutisya Kiamba
Managing Partner, Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, and a trained mediator and arbitrator with degrees spanning law, planning and a PhD from Nottingham University.
Professor Johnstone Mutisya Kiamba is the Managing Partner at Mutisya Kiamba & Company Advocates. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of South Africa and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Prof. also holds a Bachelor’s as well as Master of Arts (Planning) from the University of Nairobi and a Doctor of Philosophy from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom. He has worked, lectured and consulted as a physical planner in Kenya as well as South Africa, Botswana and Swaziland.
Prof. Kiamba has vast experience in matters Conveyancing, Family Law and Civil Law Litigation. He is a trained mediator and arbitrator and a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the Kenya Institute of Planners, the South African Planning Institute and the Botswana Institute of Town & Regional Planning.
Wanja Mukiri
Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with deep experience in conveyancing, real estate, commercial law and family law — and a passion for mediation-led resolution.
Wanja Mukiri is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, immensely experienced in a wide range of practice areas, especially Conveyancing & Real Estate, Commercial Law, Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution – Mediation.
Her skills have translated into remarkable success in transactions for our clients. Wanja is a Member of the Law Society of Kenya, FIDA-Kenya and The Association of Certified Mediators.
Meja Mutuma Munene
An Associate bringing corporate and commercial law expertise, with a proactive, detail-driven approach to contracts, incorporation and compliance.
Meja Mutuma Munene is an Associate at Mutisya Kiamba & Company Advocates, bringing a wealth of expertise in corporate and commercial law to the team. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, he is dedicated to providing top-tier legal services to our clients.

Maureen Kabala
Client-centred advocacy grounded in strong research, covering conveyancing, commercial law, family law and data protection — and the firm’s events organiser.
As a member of Mutisya Kiamba & Co., Maureen is guided by client-centred advocacy coupled with legal knowledge and dedication for excellent service delivery. Ms. Kabala is adept with the intricacies involved in Conveyancing & Property Law, Commercial Law, Family Law as well as Data Protection Law.
She excels in all matters including sales and purchases, lease agreements, property transfer, data protection, succession and inheritance among others.
With a keen eye for detail, Maureen ensures that all boxes are checked in terms of client care. She also conducts strong research and keeps herself updated on all areas of law in order to provide strategic advice to the clients she handles. Maureen is also the firm’s events organizer.
Lilliane Mwongeli
A promising trainee advocate from Egerton Law School, developing keen expertise in conveyancing, family law and commercial disputes under senior mentorship.
Lilliane Mwongeli is currently undertaking her Advocate Trainee Programme at the firm. She graduated from Egerton Law School and attained a second-class upper division. Subsequently, she undertook her Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law and excelled remarkably.
During her young and promising career, Lilliane has developed a keen interest in Conveyancing, Family Law and Commercial disputes, and is amassing a wealth of knowledge under the mentorship of the firm’s vastly experienced advocates in these fields.
